Protecting sensitive electronic equipment in rugged environments requires enclosures designed to withstand numerous mechanical, electrical/electromagnetic, and environmental factors. Utilizing over 60 years of cabinet engineering and manufacturing, nVent SCHROFF has developed the Varistar CP MIL line of 19” modified welded steel enclosures. These Custom Off the Shelf (COTS) cabinets make it easier for engineers to get the cabinet with the correct specifications to protect their mission-critical electronics. Varistar CP MIL cabinets are designed to meet MIL Cabinet Certifications including MIL-DTL-901E and other enclosure certifications like EMC and IP 55 protection. Our thermal management expertise allows us to offer advanced cooling options: convection, forced air, air conditioners, and liquid cooling. The easily modified COTS enclosure platform reduces redesign time and improves supply chain resilience while increasing confidence that electronics are protected in any rugged environment.
